On September 14, 2011, the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross, the Dominican student brothers launched a new initiative under the aegis of the studentate publication Dominicana: a daily blog which will feature short articles on matters of timely and timeless relevance, from science to Scripture, literature to liturgy, politics to prayer, or anything in between. The website, moderated by a Dominican priest, will publish short essays and reflections by student brothers. The print edition will continue to publish original content semi-annually.
Visit the Dominicana Online Edition (www.dominicanablog.com) to read an introductory post by Br. Gabriel Torretta, O.P., as well as two feature articles from the most recent print edition. Check back tomorrow for an article reflecting on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, and on Friday for a reflection on St. Catherine of Siena and silence.
