Today, Dominicans throughout the world celebrate the feast of their teacher and brother, Saint Thomas Aquinas. The slideshow above contains images of a Mass offered earlier today by Archbishop Augustine Di Noia, O.P., at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum). The school is staffed and administered by members of the Order of Preachers and serves as a focus for the Dominican theological and philosophical tradition among Rome's pontifical universities.
Archbishop Joseph Augustine Di Noia, O.P., is an American Dominican theologian who currently serves as the Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. He was ordained to the episcopacy on July 11, 2009. Previously, he held the post of Under-Secretary at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
