Word Youth Day Cross Comes to the Angelicum

In anticipation of the 25th World Youth Day celebration in Rome, the official World Youth Day Pilgrim Cross will be hosted March 7-9 at the Angelicum University.  At that time, pilgrims will be able to venerate the cross in the university's adoration chapel.

In 1946, a young Karol Wojtyla arrived in Rome and began studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Dominican university popularly known as the Angelicum.  Today, 63 years later, the school inaugurated a semester in honor of one of its most prized students.
