On Saturday, June 4, the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship hosted a day-hike with an outdoor Mass.
The Dominican Friars who minister to the parish of Sts. Philip and James in Baltimore, MD as well as the campus ministry at Johns Hopkins University recently started a new Frassati Fellowship for young adults in their twenties and thirties. The group hosts monthly holy hours with praise and worship, preaching, adoration, and a coffee hour, as well as service trips and other events.
According to their website, the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship "honors Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925), a member of the Dominican laity whose ministry and spirituality were centered on the Eucharist and helping the poor. His prayer life was driven by a great love of Jesus and Mary, and centered on a call to action - a simple commitment to radically change the world - one act of charity at a time. 'Frassati' is a fellowship designed to grow young adults of Baltimore in their Catholic Faith, we hope to reach all those in need of prayer and an active Christian life. We welcome people of all ages and faiths to come grow closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ."
