The Very Rev. Brian Martin Mulcahy, O.P., and Fr. James Sullivan, O.P., with the twenty one new novices.
Here is a photo of the recent Vestition of the Novices that took place at Saint Gertrude's Priory in Cincinnati.
The official start of the novitiate year begins with the postulants receiving the Dominican habit. During this ancient ceremony, called vestition, the new novice kneels before the prior of the community, who clothes him in all six pieces… » More
