April 1-3, 2011 will be our fourth and last vocation weekend for this academic year at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. We are at capacity with 25 men scheduled to participate. In his Sept. 26, 2010 message to his parish, distinguished New York City pastor Father George Rutler of the Church of Our Saviour on the city's famed Park Avenue--a regular on Eternal World Television Network (EWTN)--noted the fact that the novitiate of the Province of St. Joseph "accepted its largest novitiate class since 1966." Marking September as "the month the Church prays for vocations," Fr. Rutler singled out the Province as a leading example of an Order that is having growing success in attracting vocations.
