Today's Canton Repository reports an exciting bit of vocations news. Four Walsh University women are planning to become Dominican sisters, and another graduating senior, Michael Weibley, is beginning the process of becoming a Dominican Friar of the Province of St. Joseph.

Two years ago, Fr. Christopher Saliga, O.P., became the first full-time chaplain at Walsh University. The need to expand from a part- to full-time chaplaincy was a direct result of Walsh's growing community that now serves over 3,000 persons. They felt the call of God to religious life through Jordan's words and example. Perhaps Fr. Saliga has taken Blessed Jordan as a heavenly patron. If so, we hope he continues to follow in his patron's footsteps.
