MISSION STATEMENT
Holy Trinity School is a Catholic elementary school, serving the needs of the children of Holy Trinity and Saint Joseph parishes, families, and those of the surrounding communities.  Made possible by the generosity of the parents and parishioners, the faculty and staff strive to educate the whole child -- spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally -- by formal instruction, example, and a Christian atmosphere.  Continuing the rich tradition of our pioneering ancestors, we strive to form strong functioning members of our Christian community.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
Holy Trinity School exists to offer students an education that integrates the Catholic tradition with an academic program for the whole student.   Our school accommodates students of all Catholic families of Holy Trinity and Saint Joseph parishes, as well as students of any faith as long as these families honestly seek the educational program and environment which our school offers.

We offer students a context for learning and growing in their faith and for participating in the faith life of the Church with other students and staff.   Students are guided and directed to see their own worth in the eyes of God and in one another.  Opportunities for prayer, worship, and service are integrated in the students' daily lives.

The academic program meets or exceeds the state's standards.  Holy Trinity seeks to prepare each student to become academically knowledgeable and competent, developing his or her unique potential.  Students' individual needs are provided for by a variety of teaching techniques in a curriculum sensitive to their local heritage.

Our school supports the concept of self-discipline, encouraging each student to respect and care for others, to develop a critical consciousness, a respect for truth, and an awareness of social justice by enabling students to see themselves as positive agents of social change.

Parents are recognized as the primary educators of the child.  The staff interacts with the family in order to encourage the students to assume increasing responsibility for their own learning.  Opportunities are provided for interaction within the total community: between home and school, parishes and neighboring schools.

Our students are taught by a professional staff who are positive role models, witnessing faith values.  This staff is free to exercise initiative, creativity, and academic freedom while remaining accountable for meeting the academic standards.
