Rosary Shrine of St. Jude

The Rosary Shrine of Saint Jude is located at Saint Dominic Church in Washington, DC. This Shrine was founded during the Great Depression to promote devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Jude Thaddeus.

Over the years, The Rosary Shrine of Saint Jude has become a sign of hope and a source of comfort and consolation for many Catholics as well as non-Catholics during moments of desperation and times of crisis.

PURPOSE

Promote Devotion

  • Blessed Virgin Mary
  • Saint Jude Thaddeus
  • Dominic Saints and Blesseds

Promote Cooperation in Ministry

  • Education of Young Dominican Seminarians Preparing for the Priesthood
  • Assistance to Dominican Missionaries Spreading the Gospel in Foreign Lands
  • Care for Aged and Infirmed Dominican Friars Residing in our Center for Assisted Living or in Nursing Facilities
