God has given his angels charge over you, [to guard you in all your ways.]

Let us pray:
Almighty, eternal God, grant us the help of your heavenly hosts,
so that we may be preserved from the terrible assaults of the enemy,
and through the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ
and the intercession of the Blessed and Immaculate Virgin Mary,
we may be freed from all adversity so as to serve You again in peace.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever.
