"The Liturgy of the Hours,
with which the Church expresses and realizes divine worship,
and which you are called to fulfill perfectly
characterizes your life and enables you to collaborate
in a specific and active manner in building up the Church.
Embracing your entire day and centering it on the Eucharist,
the Divine Office incorporates your entire existence,
which unfolds in time, into the mystery of Christ,
and makes of the time of the Church a time of salvation."

Pope John Paul II, To Cloistered Religious, 1989

"The music of the prophets Arms Out Like a Cross
Singing the Office comes directly from

the soul of the singer.

The heart is set vibrating A Nun in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Tabernacle by the inner voice of God
and echoes that voice Singing Office
The Reader at Office in a manner similar

to the ocean waves

that murmur, Prayer Requests Posted Outside the Chapel
Kneeling as they move

to and fro,

the praises of the Lord." A Procession to Our Lady
