Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to you God's love entrusts me here.
Ever this day be at my side
to light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen

O my holy guardian angel,
you who have been given to me by God
as my faithful companion throughout my life,
save me from eternity and fulfill in me your duty
given to you by the love of God.
Shake off my indifference,
strengthen me in my weakness,
block from me every wrong way,
open my eyes to God and the Cross
but close my ears to the prompting
of the wicked adversary.
My holy guardian angel,
watch over me when I sleep
and let me one day be your joy
and your reward in heaven.
