Biography

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he entered the Order of Preachers in 1949 and completed undergraduate studies at Providence College, Providence, RI. He did graduate studies in Pastoral Counseling and Religious Experience at Andover—Newton, MA as well as Preaching and Scripture Studies at Union Theological in New York City. Ordained in 1956, he spent time as a parish priest, a member of the Eastern Preaching Band (Mission Band), pastor of St. Pius Church, Providence, RI, Director of the Student Campus Center at Providence College. Fr. Aedan was co-director of the Retreat Program at St. Stephen’s, Priory, Dover, MA From 1978—1980 he served as Co-ordinator of the Dominican Center of Evangelization in New York City. He has had two terms as Promoter of Preaching for the Province of St. Joseph.

As a full - time preacher and spiritual director, he is currently a member of the Dominican Preachers of Ossining, NY, a collaborative team of Dominican men and women.

Programs

Parish Missions which run from Saturday to Wednesday Preached, Guided and Directed Retreats for 6 or 8 days.
